This is sundress inspired by a dress in an ancient Sew Beautiful magazine by Adele Westbrook. Ulster linen with a ton of silk ribbon embroidery. This is my daughter at her 10th birthday party, which was a fancy tea party....I pulled out all the china, crystal and silver. SO FUN! And she is such a beautiful girl inside, and if I do say so myself, gorgeous on the outside.

Thanks for posting this! I'm still trying to sew some for Grace Anne who is 11 now and it's getting hard to figure out what patterns to use. She has outgrown most of what Children's Corner has, so any inspiration or advice for the older girls is appreciated! I love this dress with all of the embroidery. Grace Anne would love something like this, I think.
